What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technology, called local storage and session storage, lets a site remember small preferences without sending them to a server.
What we store
| Name | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|
| sp-cookie-ok (local storage) | Remembers that you closed the cookie notice | Until you clear your browser data |
| sp-ad-closed (session storage) | Remembers that you hid the mobile advertising bar | Until you close the tab |
Our forms do not use cookies; spam protection uses a signed code inside the form instead. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not use analytics cookies.
Cookies set by other services
The map on our Contact page is provided by Google Maps, and the payment window by our payment partner. These services may set their own cookies when they load, under their own policies.
How to control cookies
You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking them will not stop you reading The Headline Update; you may simply see the cookie notice again.
