GDC Kargil holds workshop on plant tissue culture techniques
Kargil, Oct 24: The Department of Biotechnology, Government Degree College (GDC) Kargil, organised a two-day hands-on training programme and workshop on Basic Plant Tissue Culture Techniques on October 23 and 24, 2026, under the DBT Star College Scheme. The programme aimed to enhance students’ understanding of plant tissue culture and provide practical exposure to its applications in biotechnology, plant propagation and research.
