No mic? Samsung TVs may hijack your soundbar to listen in, researcher claims

A researcher who reverse-engineered their 2025 Samsung TV says its telemetry counts dog-barking and baby-crying events and logs them to Samsung servers, in addition to tapping Bluetooth devices for audio. Sound detection is an advertised feature. Reporting those counts back to Samsung is not.
